While my strong technical background enables me to assess and correct systematic deficiencies and improvement opportunities, I am also able to very effectively translate technical requirements into effective leadership at all levels needed to get the job done. Software Architect & Lead Developer, Visa New Venture (June 2008 - present)

• Designed and Implemented advanced, soon to be released web application using Using PHP, AJAX, Smarty, jQuery, MySQL, Orange Orange, HTML2PS, Amazon FPS, Google's Contacts API, FCKEditor, Flash, XML

• Created mysql data administration interface using PHP, AJAX, Smarty, jQuery, MySQL, Orange Orange, FCKEditor to overcome some of the limitations of phpMyAdmin.

• Team management – worked with web designers and development people to create a usable, attractive product.

Senior Developer, Network Technologies - Turbo Compliance (November 2007- June 2008)

• Designed and implemented global, multi-timezone calendar scheduling system from the ground up (similar to google's calendar). Using PHP, Pear, AJAX, Smarty, jQuery, MySQL.

• Designed and implemented new tools based on frontend web technologies to improve productivity and maintainability of code base.

• Conceived BORG 0.5 open source web framework – a PHP based dynamic object datastore to allow users to configure datatypes pre-& post creation (imagine a collection of multiwebsite javascript objects, searchable, stored in a MySQL database)

• Worked with clients to gather project specifications, recommend ideal solutions, and lead web projects to completion with high levels of customer satisfaction

• Created affiliate marketing web application admin frontend powered by PHP, AJAX and frontend web technologies for real-time visitor statistics. Python based chron backend for screen scraping of external website conversion pages and performing a cross referencing a MySQL database finally emailing the results to the client

• Created Web systems that connect external systems such as Ebay, Linkshare, CJ, and Amazon APIs to company websites. - wow.. that was a while ago. I don't remember doing that.

Application Designer, Developer, Corporate Enhancement Group (January 2004-May 2005)

• Worked intensively with on-site Web Designers and Programmers to create thin-client CRM tools and order management systems using Java, Freemarker, Jython and frontend web technologies. Conceptualized and implemented “Zero Reload” interface (AJAX)

• Worked with enterprise class clients to gather information for project specifications for a potential market forcasting tool. Consulted on backend design. Implemented matrix builder tool using Freemarker and frontend web technologies.

• Developed beta version of community web based application for student tracking and teacher/parent communication.

• Created school interactive technical support site including software catalog with 'shopping cart'. (html, javascript, perl) This resulted in reduced need for technical support and shorter response times when support was needed.
